The Network Operations Center (NOC) which powers
PrivateWebServers.com is located in an 8 story complex
in the Jacksonville, Florida Central Business District.
The entire fourth floor is built out to data center
space. We utilize multiple redundant connections into
Cogent with 2xGigE soon to be 3xGigE (GigEs have the
equivalent bandwidth of 22 T3s with a transmission rate
of 1000 Mbps or 1Gbps.) and an all Cisco powered routing
infrastructure for maximum resillience to Denial of
Service attacks (DDoS). 5 backup generators have been
installed in case of power outage varying in size from
250KVA up to a couple of megawatts. Everything inside
the Data Center is backed up on an uniterruptible power
supply (UPS). Currently running with 2 UPSs, a third is
being installed as of 10-12-07.
24/7 security is provided.
